Most Small Business Owners think they have a lead problem
That's not always true. Often it’s a focus problem.
This week in my business owners group 3 Kiwi business owners shared:
• 100+ leads in a month
• $11k commercial jobs landing
• $80k revenue weeks
• 29:1 ROAS campaigns
Sounds all good right?
But here’s the things I honed in on:
• Standardising Google Ads account structures
• Building real SOPs for delivery teams
• Fixing broken lead form tracking
• Implementing weekly and monthly client reporting
• Cleaning backend operations before chasing more sales
• Refreshing our understanding of our avatar / ICP before running Meta ads
Cos scaling profit without processes (and people… yes I’m claiming I invented the 3 P’s of biz)
One of the dudes said “I just need to hunt more.”
Yeah nah bro… need to quickly revisit some planning, get more slick in the backen… Then hunt down more growth.
It’s not always easy trying to share insights into what I do… cos it’s often unseen.
Not the wins.
Not the revenue screenshots.
It’s the operating discipline underneath all that Ra-ra that the American biz bros post.
That’s where real growth happens.
If you’re a $1m - $3m NZ business and you’re busy but still feel stretched…
Don’t just think you need more leads.
Cos then you’ll make more profit and hire someone to do more stuff.
You need to focus on the biggest bottleneck and get slick.
